The Albert Centre is a Registered Charity and Company Limited by Guarantee that has been operating throughout the Tees Valley district (Middlesbrough, Stockton, Redcar and Hartlepool) for the past 30 years.

We provide information, advice, treatment, counselling and support services to individuals who have alcohol dependency or misuse problems. We provide a alcohol/ drug misuse service in the accident and emergency department and wards within the James Cook University hospital in Middlesbrough.

We provide a number of bespoke substance misuse training packages to professionals and external organisations.

We also provide Drink Drive rehabilitation courses for people convicted of drink drive related offences. The Albert Centre is also a Home Office approved trainer for Drink Banning Orders.
